The aim of this course is to raise awareness of Infection Control issues within the workplace and promote best practice measures of standard infection control precautions such as appropriate hand washing technique to prevent and control Health Care Associated Infections.
By the end of the course, students will have a good understanding of what infections are, the standard precautions to break the chain of infection, how to deal with spills and exposure and how to manage linen & waste.
